As a Lutheran School, our approach to education reflects
the teachings of the Lutheran Church, endeavouring to fulfill Christ’s
command to go into the world and present the Gospel to others and
provide opportunities to respond to God’s Word.
As a Christian school, we aim to support the "whole" child’s physical,
emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs, encouraging each child to
develop their God-given talents to reach the potential they have in
Christ.
At St. John’s, we are committed to providing quality education in a
Christian environment. We strive to provide a positive approach to
education that will equip children for the future and lay a foundation
for lifelong learning.
Our academic guidelines are based on curriculum documents provided by
Education Queensland, while Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions
provide the theological foundation for our Worship and Devotional
program. A blend of traditional and current educational practices
provide a balanced framework for instruction. |
